POLICIES & PROCEDURES
WE UNDERSTAND THAT UNANTICIPATED EVENTS HAPPEN OCCASIONALLY IN EVERYONE'S LIFE. IN OUR DESIRE TO BE EFFECTIVE AND FAIR TO ALL OF OUR CLIENTS AND OUT OF CONSIDERATION FOR THERAPISTS' TIME, WE HAVE ADOPTED THE FOLLOWING POLICIES:
CANCEL/RESCHEDULE: A 24 hour notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment. If you are unable to provide at least a 24 hour notice, you will be charged a fee of up to 50% of your service costs. After the first late cancellation/reschedule, you will be charged the full rate of your selected service(s). ...or...
If you cancel or reschedule within 24 hours of the selected appointment time, you will be charged 50% of your selected service(s). Future late cancellations and/or late rescheduling will be charged the full rate for your selected service(s). ...or...
The first late cancellation/reschedule is subject to a 50% fee. Future late cancellations and/or reschedules will incur a 100% fee.
NO-SHOW POLICY: No-shows will be charged the full rate for selected service(s). After 1 no-show, clients will be required to pre-pay for all future appointments. If client no-shows a second time, there will be a $50 fee deducted from any pre-paid service(s). If client no-shows a 3rd time, there will be a $50 fee deducted from any pre-paid service(s), and any remaining pre-paid money will be refunded to client, and client will no longer be able to schedule services at Island City Massage.
LATE ARRIVALS: Appointment times have been arranged specifically for you. If you arrive late, your session may be shortened in order to accommodate others whose appointments follow yours. Depending upon how late you arrive, your therapist will then determine if there is enough time remaining to start a treatment. Regardless of the length of the treatment actually given, you will be responsible for the “full” session.
